The subject composition of the study plan as well as other activities of the PhD student correspond to the description of the branch of study. They are the subjects focused on particular geospheres, advanced bio- and eco-climatological, eco-physiological knowledge, in the sphere of creating, protection and the use of forest ecosystems capable of adapting on the basis of genetic structural and functional diversity, in the sphere of advanced mathematic-statistical methods, ecological modelling including emergence characteristics of ecosystems, scaling, ecosystem accounting, risk assessment, and management vulnerability of forest ecosystems as well as in the spheres of socio-economic and sector-political aspects of ecosystem services.
On the basis of surveys in professional associations, enterprises, bodies of civil services of forest management, the graduate of this study programme has all needed qualifications to work as a member or the head of institutional or inter-institutional research and realisation teams on a national or international scale, to work in a position of an executive in positions of specialist civil service and within business subjects conducting their own research or innovations in the sphere of eco-systematic forest services or an ability to work as a university teacher.
