The 65th International Conference of Student Scientific and Professional Activities ŠVOČ 2025 was held on 9 April 2025 at the Faculty of Forestry of the Technical University in Zvolen.
The conference was officially opened by the Dean of the Faculty of Forestry doc. Šulek. It was held in 4 sections:
• Secondary Schools section, with 9 presentations,
• Home section (MSc. and BSc. students presenting in Slovak language) with 13 presentations,
• International (domestic and foreign MSc. and BSc. degree students presenting in English) with 8 presentations,
• Doctoral Section with 7 presentations.
In the secondary school section, students from high forestry schools from Prešov, Liptovský Hrádok and Banská Štiavnica presented their works.
Seven foreign students from 4 different countries (Poland, Czech Republic, Austria and Sudan) also presented their works.
We believe that this event was beneficial for all the participants and that our guests felt well with us.
We would like to thank the participating students, the members of the evaluation committees, guests, the SVOČ Council, the Welcome Hub and we are looking forward to the 66th SVOČ 2026.
